Internet Desk: WhatsApp is constantly introducing new features to impress its users. If the status of WhatsApp is a height among the characteristics that have reached so far … everything else is another height. This is because the WhatsApp Status feature has attracted many users. Photos, videos, links, happy sad things .. Anyway, we will share the contacts with everyone on WhatsApp through the status. Many people assign different types of status. We also like some of them … like wanting to update our status. Sometimes we ask them to share and we put them in our state. From time to time you ask them what they are … we leave them without asking. So without asking everyone … you can download your status with a simple trick. Let’s see how!
With Google files …
If you are an Android user, you need to download the Google Files app through the Play Store. This app is the default on most smartphones. Those who do not have this application can download it from the Play Store. IOS users can only download WhatsApp statuses through the File Maager app.
1. After downloading the Google Files app, go to the menu and open Settings.
2. The ‘Show hidden files’ setting appears there. It must be enabled.
3. Now go back from the application and open the application again and go to the internal storage settings (Iteral Storage). Click on the WhatsApp folder option, then Media, then go to the Status folder. (Internal storage> WhatsApp> Media> States)
4. In that folder, all the statuses that you see in your contact list will be displayed. If you want, you can upload and enjoy your status.
WhatsApp status folder is in hidden mode by default. This means that the folder will not appear in other file management applications. If you enable the option, the folder will appear. Every photo and video you see in the status is saved in this folder. You can share that file with your friends. Or state. It can be converted to different folders if desired.
Even easier ..
If the aforementioned Google Files option seems a bit difficult … there are some third-party apps that you can download directly. The protector of state is one of them. It will also be available to us on the PlayStore. It shows all the WhatsApp statuses you have seen. The next step is to download, save and use whatever we want.
WhatsApp tests in-app cryptocurrencies with Novi wallet
WhatsApp is testing cryptocurrency payments within the application utilizing the Novi digital wallet, which is possessed by Meta.
After the failed establishment of Libra as a worldwide virtual currency, the aspect is currently found only with those who have WhatsApp in Guatemala and the United States.
However, Meta’s extended goal remains as it is. As the company declared, it aims to address the problems that 1.7 billion grownups around the world face because they are unwilling to participate in international banking systems.
In a declaration issuing about WhatsApp’s cooperation, Novi stated, “Being shut out of the global financial system has real consequences for people’s lives, and it’s often the most underserved people who pay the highest price.”
WhatsApp will now make it easier for users to end conversations and send cute stickers, finds a new update in their beta version
You know how in the past when you were talking to someone online and the conversation got lengthy without the two of you enjoying it, but didn’t know how to end it? Well, that problem was fixed a while back when many social platforms introduced a message reaction feature. The feature consisted of a number of emoji’s which could be used to react to a message of the sender. The feature was so well adopted that it unknowingly and unconsciously became the symbol of ending conversations.
While most platforms like Instagram, Messenger had this feature, one of the biggest online social chatting app, lacked it. Yes, we are talking about WhatsApp.
WhatsApp, however, now has jumped the bandwagon. The company is launching two new features, and one of them is the message reaction button, reports WABI.
According to the evidences of updates collected in August, the beta version of WhatsApp contained a message that the company was launching a reaction info pane which would give the sender a glimpse of how well the receiver had reacted to their message.
Users must be glad to hear it, considering now conversation could be ended in a more un-awkward way, specially the introverts.
The beta version currently only mentions the test to be done on iOS operated devices, but if things goes well, Android will soon be receiving the feature too.
However, WhatsApp isn’t leaving its users with only this feature this holiday season, but it also is introducing another new update to an already existing feature. We all know how strong the sticker game has gotten on WhatsApp since the tech firm introduced it a while back.
WhatsApp stickers currently have to be downloaded in your WhatsApp keyboard before you can attach it and send it to someone else. However, the company is now working towards a more convenient way, as spotted by WABI. You know you can forward messages on WhatsApp through a cute tilted arrow, you might be able to do it with stickers as well.
The company in its beta update showed the development of a feature that when you send or receive a sticker, you will be shown a forwarding arrow in front of it. Tapping on which you can directly send that particular sticker to your desired contact, without having to download it.
The tech firm is working through some minor changes that will defiantly make some major impacts and we cannot wait to see what else they will be introducing in the near future.
WhatsApp may soon allow users to react to messages
WhatsApp appears to be adding more features to its rumoured message reaction feature. It was also spotted in the past. This feature allows users to respond to specific messages in a chat. The new reaction information tab allows users to easily see who has reacted to a particular message. Individual chat threads as well as group chat threads will have message reactions. WhatsApp’s upcoming feature will allow users to respond to messages using different emoticons.
WABetaInfo reports WhatsApp plans to make it possible to respond to messages with a future update. It is currently in development, and may not be available in the most recent beta. Reactions will appear below the message. However, there is an additional tab called reaction info that will allow users to see who has reacted.
A screenshot of the new tab for reaction information was shared by the tipster. You can see that all reactions are listed under the tab “All” and then WhatsApp groups which responded to a particular emoji in a separate tab. WABetaInfo reports users can only respond to one message and that there are six emojis.
This feature was spotted in WhatsApp beta for iOS. However, WhatsApp is also working to bring the same functionality to WhatsApp beta for Android.
WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop users have recently received a new custom stickers tool that allows them to create stickers from photos taken on the computer. This feature is now available for both Mac and PC users. To create their stickers, users had to use third-party apps before they could send them to WhatsApp. It is not clear when this will be made available for iOS or Android users.
