Leon Edwards earned one of the most notable wins of his career on Saturday when he defeated Nate Diaz in the UFC 263 featured bout.

Edwards (19-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) extended his unbeaten streak to 10 consecutive fights when he beat Diaz (20-13 MMA, 15-11 UFC) by unanimous decision in the welterweight matchup at the Gila Rivera Arena in Glendale, Ariz.

With the victory, Edwards likely finds himself near the top of the queue for a shot at 170-pound kingpin Kamaru Usman.

Check below for the top Twitter reactions to Edwards’ victory over Diaz at UFC 263.

Nolan King

Now that the fight has begun, I heard from a member of Diaz’s camp a couple weeks ago the reason Nate pulled out of the fight in Houston was due to a cut. Let’s see if that becomes an issue – again. #UFC263

Aaron Bronsteter

The last time that Leon Edwards lost a fight was the same night that Nate Diaz beat Michael Johnson.

Seems like an eternity ago.

Leon Edwards has mastered the art of taking a grappling position such that if he needs to bail, he can do so without much issue. That’s a no B.S. skill.

Edwards is constantly disrupting Diaz.

Jabs and leg kicks to force him to reset.

Lateral movement to force him to reset.

Initiate clinch if Diaz moves into him.

Take down and hold from back with one hook (an Edwards special!).

It’s not very violent, but it’s pretty thorough.
