THE CAGE IS TOO SLIPPERY!! Jesus man! How many times do I have to say this. Please UFC, we gotta chill with the spray inbetween fights. It’s messing everyone up. #UFCVegas22

I wasn’t joking man. I could get a single TD on Yan because of the slickness of the canvas. Usman complained about it too and he won, so I’m not whining about it. It’s a real adjustment we gotta make on the fly in there https://t.co/NcMUseeI68

Yeah I agree with Paul. Brunson probably has about a 15 pound weight advantage on him tonight. #UFCVegas22

I can’t make out what he’s saying because he’s on the opposite side of the cage from me and the coaches are shouting, but Holland is doing a lot of talking as he’s on his back

Lol Kevin Holland giving Brunson BJJ tips on how to pass his guard

Holland from the bottom: “Why are you holding my mouth like you don’t want me to talk?” #UFCVegas22

Holland drops Brunson with a couple of rights. Brunson is back up and fighting.

Brunson did an amazing job staying composed and finding the takedown to full mount after getting dropped. #UFCVegas22

Kevin Holland, being choked by Derek Brunson, is still blabbing. This is bizarre. #UFCVegas22

— Nolan King (@mma_kings) March 21, 2021

Holland is hysterical but his wrestling is a zero

Brunson wins second 10-9 but Holland kept talking the entire time, even when Brunson was trying to get an arm triangle. And now he’s chatting to Dana again as he’s in his corner. #UFCVegas22

— Kevin Iole (@KevinI) March 21, 2021

Brunson looks a little tired

Khabib Nurmagomedov is streaming the fights on Instagram… 🤣 while sitting next to Dana White #UFCVegas22

— Shakiel Mahjouri (@Shak_Fu) March 21, 2021

Holland‘s game plan, get taken down the first three rounds and let Brunson tire himself out. Come on stronger round four and try and finish him round five!? Maybe?! #UFCVegas22

— Alan Jouban (@AlanJouban) March 21, 2021

Has he got a 4th round bet on himself or something?

UFC, Brunson- Holland, I thought only Ali talked during a fight, but if Holland wants to pull off a Zaire type performance he should probably stay on his feet. But maybe this is his ‘Rope a Dope’. #UFCVegas22 #UFC

Watching Kevin Holland in this fight is frustrating the sh*t out of me. #UFCVegas22

Brunson is working, but he is tired. Kevin is still in this if he can get back to throwing. He showed some live moments in rd4.

— Steven Wright (@steventhewarman) March 21, 2021

I know everyone is quick to pounce on Holland’s takedown defense but let’s not forget Derek Brunson is a phenomenal wrestler. It’s not like he’s some bum with no takedowns on his resume. #UFCVegas22

— Damon Martin (@DamonMartin) March 21, 2021

I think the size advantage for the upper echelon of this division will play a big factor against Holland. He’s a gamer, tricky/unorthodox, fun, and as tough as they come. But you can see the strength difference in some of his fights. I think he needs a finish. #UFCVegas22

I can’t tell if Holland doesn’t have the skill set or the fight IQ to deal with Brunson’s game but he does have the power so he’s at least still dangerous because of it. #brunsonvsholland

— The Thugjitsu Master (@thugjitsumaster) March 21, 2021

Bisping calling this fight 100% correct. Take nothing from Derek Brunson. He’s fighting the right fight. But Kevin Holland, this is HIS potential breakout tonight, and his performance is coming up short through four rounds. Let’s see what happens in the fifth.

As said before, boxing or MMA, it’s always about who controls the Geography best for them, so far it’s Brunson, no matter what Holland says. #UFCVegas22 #ufc

It’s all fun and games until you realize you only got half a check

This man is a whole character lol. Idk how I would deal with that at all. I’m glad I get to just watch it instead #UFCVegas22

— Aljamain Sterling (@funkmasterMMA) March 21, 2021

Props to Brunson on staying focused and getting the job done.
